Mid-Century Modern Kevi Task Chairs
Overview of the Mid-Century Modern Kevi Task Chair by Jørgen Rasmussen
To design a piece that is simple, beautiful, and functional is a daunting task. That is why the Kevi task chairs are so revered. Designed in 1958 by Jørgen Rasmussen for the KEVI company, this multi-purpose, adjustable-height chair has been a workhorse in both the office and home for over five decades. If you know your design history, Rasmussen also invented the double-wheel caster which changed chair design forever.
These two black chairs are in good vintage condition with some paint chipping (as seen in the photos) a few spots of metal rust. Both chairs are completely functional — and still adjustable for whatever size human you might be.
